Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment
How do you show the emotions, energy and personality of musicians using still images?
The 2011 season campaign for the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment was probably one of the most successful and adventurous projects we’ve ever worked on – and we did it all with coloured gaffer tape.
The campaign was rolled out onto season brochures, as well as tube posters and banners at London’s Southbank Centre.
Classical music lovers from Italy to Iowa blogged about the gaffer tape campaign. One of our favourite quotes was from an opera blogger in Italy who commented, “…outsider art meets home depot”. We couldn’t have put it better ourselves.
